Conference Space

Catholic Theological Union’s newly constructed 95,000 square foot five-story Academic Building and Conference Center is located at 5416 S. Cornell Avenue in the heart of Hyde Park and only seconds away from Lake Michigan. This centerpiece of the campus, offers assembly space, state-of-the-art classrooms and conference space, reception space, faculty and administrative offices, a new home for the Bechtold Library which will accommodate the library’s vast holdings, the art gallery, and a parking garage. This building is sure to fit any event’s needs.

Conference spaces include use of: projectors & screens, lapel microphones, whiteboards, Wi-Fi access, PC, Bluetooth mouse & keyboard, and DVD player. Events can be audio or video recorded upon request.

In addition to our conference space, guests have access to our Atrium Café in the 5416 Academic Building & Conference Center or the Cafeteria in the 5401Residence Building during regular business hours. CTU also offers a wide variety of catering options for any time of the day, large or small groups.

Guest housing and parking is available on site.
