Institute of Religious Formation - Application & Costs

 

Applications for the Institute of Religious Formation are preferred early and will be accepted and processed in the order received. Participants are expected to be present in Chicago throughout the academic year and to avoid diocesan, congregational, academic or other engagements that will interfere with their participation in the program. Clerics are asked not to accept weekend requests.

Costs (2010-2011)
  • Tuition, room, board and workshop fees total $19,900
  • This includes tuition and all program costs plus room & board which includes: a private room, bath and full meal plan of three meals daily.
  • Retreat: To Be Determined (Estimate: $3,800)
Other Costs:
  • While attending the Institute of Religious Formation, all students must have health insurance whether through their community or through Catholic Theological Union. Costs for health insurance and estimated expenses for items such as books, spiritual direction, and English language classes can be obtained through the Institute of Religious Formation.
