Master of Arts in Biblical Ministry
The Master of Arts in Biblical Ministry is focused on giving the student the knowledge and skills needed to conduct biblical ministry in a variety of settings, usually on the parish level. This is one of five new degree options for students who are interested in preparing for ministry in specialized fields.
Of the required 36 credit-hours of study, at least 24 hours must be completed in residence (traditional classroom setting) with an option to complete the other 12 hours in either online or blended courses, as available. In addition to the necessary coursework, all students are required to participate in the appropriate spiritual formation program offered at CTU.
Educational goals and outcomes for students:
- Attainment of an adequate grasp of biblical content
- Development of skills in engaging effectively the biblical tradition in such settings as Bible study
- Attainment of the theological knowledge that will enhance biblical understanding and interpretive skills

Christology (3 credits)
Ecclesiology (3 credits)
Electives (at least 7 credits)
Practicum (1 credit)
Total: 36 credit-hours
