Romero Scholars Program

The Oscar Romero Scholarship Program offers Hispanic/Latino lay men and women a full tuition scholarship for a professional graduate degree that aids them in their ministry in the Archdiocese of Chicago. The Romero program is co-sponsored by the Archdiocese of Chicago.

Romero Scholars

Romero Scholars participate in the program with the understanding that they will commit to work in or on behalf of the Archdiocese of Chicago for at least three years after their graduation.

Formation

In addition to comprehensive academic preparation, this program also offers spiritual formation and an orientation to pastoral work in the Catholic church of Chicago.
