Our Catholics On Call partners—which include men's and women's religious communities, college and university campus ministry programs, young adult ministry programs, and parishes—offer opportunities for discernment and discovery throughout the year. If you are interested in attending or learning more information, please contact the partnering organization directly.

TASTE OF THE WOODS
(Weekend overnight visits on an individual basis)
High school age young women are invited to a weekend
at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods that includes an evening of fireside story-telling with the sisters, tour of the motherhouse grounds and information about our foundress, Saint Mother Theodore Guerin. You’ll also visit White Violet Center for Eco-Justice and Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College. Housing and meals will be provided.

WOMEN'S DISCERNMENT GROUP
Single Catholic Women between the ages of 18 and 45 are invited to join with sisters of several communities in the greater Cincinnati, OH area to learn about religious life.
When: The third Sunday of every month from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Where: The session begins after the 5:30 p.m. Mass at St. Monica-St. George parish in the former school building.

WOMEN IN DISCERNMENT
Single Catholic Women between the ages of 18 and 45 are invited to join with sisters of several communities in the Louisville, KY area to learn about religious life.
When: The fourth Sunday of every month from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., except December when we meet on the first Sunday of the month
Where: We meet in the fireplace room in Horrigan Hall at Bellarmine University every month except May, June, July and August when we meet at the Maloney Center.

CHOOSING YOUR CUP OF LIFE: A Discernment Tea
Join us for a morning “tea” and discover how you can discern your “cup of life” and invite God into your decision-making. Lynne Kornecki, massage therapist, will introduce the mind, body, spirit connection of discernment. Sister Nancy Kennelly, IBVM, pastoral associate and spiritual director, will talk about what discernment is and how we experience it throughout our lives. Julie Stapleton, IBVM, will describe the labyrinth prayer path. Also experience these aids to discernment: quiet prayer in the chapel, journaling, paraffin hand dip, hand massage, flavored tea and coffee. Registration is required. BENEDICTINE LIFE WEEKEND
Are you searching for God's direction in life? Do you wonder if monastic life could be the right fit? Would you like the chance to check it out? If so, we invite you to visit our community for a Benedictine Life Week. It is open to single, Catholic women, ages 19-40, discerning religious life.
When: October 17-19, 2008

"COME AND SEE"
Come and meet the Sisters of Mercy of the Mid-Atlantic Community. The Mid-Atlantic Community includes Southeastern New York, Eastern Pennsylvania and all of New Jersey. We are hosting an informational retreat experience for single, Catholic women, age 20–45, who are interested in exploring religious life and the Sisters of Mercy. The gathering will provide an opportunity to meet some Sisters of Mercy and ask questions about their life. The experience will include meeting other women who are exploring religious life. It will also include time for information gathering, sharing, praying and informal conversation. We hope you can join us!

FALL DISCERNMENT WEEKEND
Women, ages 18-42, who are considering becoming Catholic sisters are invited to attend this weekend and learn more about living out their baptismal call in right relationship with God, each other and the Earth.  Learn how the Sisters of Providence live prayerful lives within community and within the ministries they serve throughout the Wabash Valley, the United States and Taiwan.  There is no cost for the weekend.  Housing and meals will be provided.

COME AND SEE WEEKEND
The School Sisters of Notre Dame invite single women ages 18 and older to visit and get a closer look at our way of life. Take time at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Mount Calvary, Wisconsin to pray, explore, learn, relax and interact with sisters and other women who are seeking to know where God is leading them. Enjoy the 36 acres of farmland at Mount Calvary and take part in a reflective experience at the SUNSEED Eco-Education Center. There is no cost for the weekend.

"COME AND SEE" DISCERNMENT WEEKEND RETREAT
What gives you great joy? What are your gifts? Do you wish to be a piece of our future? Discernment retreat for single women ages 21-45 desiring to discern a call to a religious lifestyle. Further activities are planned that will involve experiences of Earth spirituality at the near-by SUNSEED Eco-Education Center.
Details: Opportunities to hear and share stories of God's call and purpose. Also time is spent sharing prayer, meals, Q & A, and liturgy with community members. There is no fee; all meals and accommodations are provided at St. Agnes Convent, Fond du Lac, WI

There will be time for quiet prayer and reflection, conversation with a few Daughters of Charity and the chance to speak with women like you who are open to what God might be asking of them. You will go away with discernment resources that will help you as you continue to seek God’s will in your life.
